OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:
Oral Surgery and extractions
Sometimes removing a tooth due to infection, crowding, etc. is necessary. Our doctors make oral surgery as painless as possible. Anesthetic is administered prior to the extraction, and medication may be prescribed for pain relief afterwards. It is important to follow the post-operation instructions that we provide for our patients after having a tooth removed to ensure proper healing.
Root Canal Therapy
Within each tooth is a root canal system composed of nerves and blood vessels necessary for tooth growth and development. Root canal therapy is recommended for teeth where the nerve has become damaged or is dead. This treatment is done as an alternative to extracting the tooth. The dead or damaged pulp is removed, and the canal is sealed with a filling. Our doctors typically perform root canals in office, but in special cases we may refer patients to a highly qualified specialist.
Digital Radiography
Dental x-rays are an important part of the oral care patients receive here. The purpose of x-rays is to detect cavities within the tooth, monitor impacted wisdom teeth, check for bone loss and fracture lines, diagnose infection, etc. Our office offers fast, immediate, and environmentally-friendly (digital) x-rays. Digital x-rays deliver a much lower exposure of radiation than conventional x-rays do.
